How long until my lockers are delivered?
Most orders for unassembled lockers ship in 1-2 business days whereas orders for assembled lockers normally ship in 5-7 business days.

Larger orders: some will ship just as quick as smaller orders and some will take slightly longer.

Transit time after shipment varies generally from 1-7 business days depending on your location. West coast shipments generally take the shortest amount of time.

If you have rush/deadline requirements, please let us know your needs. We will make every attempt to get you the lockers you need on time and on budget!

What is the warranty on lockers?
The manufacturer''s warranty provides a one year limited warranty to the original purchaser covering defects in material and workmanship if reported in writing to the manufacturer within one year of the delivery date. This warranty is limited to the cost of the products and does not include installation costs, expedited shipping costs, transportation neglect or costs, misuse or alterations by the customer. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; as such this limitation and exclusion may not apply to you. The manufacturer, at its option, may replace or repair defective products. Returned goods will not be accepted without a returned goods authorization number.

Will you email me the tracking number?
Yes, we will email you the tracking number for your shipment. We generally receive this information 1-2 days after your order has already left our shipping facility. We will email you the tracking number and/or shipment information as soon as we receive it.

When do you need to order side panels?
Note: this FAQ applies to designer, oak executive, and plastic series lockers only.

These sides of these types of lockers come unfinished. This is because a finished end is only needed if exposed and visible. Since the side of most lockers end up abutted to the locker next to it, it is not necessary or cost effective to finish the sides of each unit. Instead, side panels are offered so that the individual locker cost and material can be reduced. So, to complete the row with a finished look, you'll need to order side panels with your lockers. Keep reading below to find out how to calculate the correct number of side panels to order.

Do you need side panels for your designer, oak, or plastic lockers and if so, how many?

Side panels are strictly cosmetic but provide an almost necessary finished look to the side of any exposed locker. For example the last locker in a row that has a visible side or an individual locker that is not recessed into the wall. So, in order to calculate the number of side panels, you'll need to first know how you intend to arrange the lockers. For example if you have a single row of 7 lockers with one end of the row against an adjoining wall and the other end exposed and visible, you would need 1 side panel. If you are ordering a single locker or row of lockers that will be placed in the center of a longer wall, you'd want 2 side panels, one for each end of the row. If you will recess the lockers into the wall with a finished fit with the wall, you would not need any side panels. Similarly, if your locker row extends from one side wall to the next side wall, you would not need any side panels as there would be no exposed/visible sides. If you have multiple rows, you'd need to count the exposed ends and order that number of side panels.

Do you match prices?
Absolutely! We will not be undersold! If you found a lower advertised rate including shipping or if you have a quote at a lower cost, contact us with the information and we will prepare a quote for you.

Do you have other sizes/colors lockers available?
Yes, we can special order lockers of other sizes and colors not shown on the website. Cost is generally slighly higher (for alternate colors) and delivery is usually 2-6 weeks depending on what is ordered. If you have any special size or color requirements, please contact us.

How to get the best value when buying lockers
Most of our lockers are sold either as 1-wide units (a single locker frame) or 3-wide units (3 locker frames side by side).

For the best value, we recommend calculating the maximum number of 3-wide units you can use per row and making up the difference with 1-wide units. For example, if your locker row is to be 14 frames long, you would want to order 4 x 3-wide units and 2 x 1-wide units to total 14 frames. This combination would result in the same locker row as if you ordered 14 individual units, but at a lower cost. All of our 3-wide units are priced at a lower cost than 3 of the cooresponding 1-wide units.

Perform this calculation for each locker row and add up the total of 3-wide units and 1-wide units to arrive at the lowest-cost configuration.

What carrier will my order ship via?
This should provide a general guideline by which your order will ship. These are not strict policies and this may vary per order or location. If you have specific requirements, contact us first or let us know when placing your order.

Smaller/lighter orders will generally ship via UPS including small orders of benches and modular lockers. Orders of up to 2 standard unassembled lockers may be shipped via standard UPS service (some models). Any locker orders of 3-wide units plus or specialty type lockers or any assembled lockers will ship via freight carrier. Freight carriers we use include UPS freight, YRC, DHE, and others. We cannot guarantee a specific carrier, but we can at your preference ship collect per your account with your preferred carrier. It has been our experience that our shipping rates can be up to 3 to 4 times cheaper than using your own carrier.

Does Raytech / LockersDepot.com accept Purchase Orders, P.O.'s?
Yes, we offer terms (PO’s) with 30 day billing to Military, State and other Federal agencies. We also may accept other POs such as civic, public schools, private schools, police, fire, and other local agencies and some private companies. PO acceptance is at the discretion of our billing department and handled on a case-by-case basis. If you wish to pay via purchase order please contact us at the email address or phone number found at the bottom of this page.

Will you ship outside of the U.S.?
We regularly ship to the 50 United States including Alaska and Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, and other outlying areas. We generally do not ship internationally but we do offer will call at Los Angeles, CA where you can arrange for your carrier to pick up your order; or, we can ship to your freight forwarder within the United States and you can handle shipping arrangements from your U.S. forwarder to your location. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Can you hold my order for delivery around a specific date?
Yes, we will gladly hold your order for a future date. Often our customers need to be billed in a certain cycle but don''t need the lockers until later. Just let us know the approximate date that you would like the lockers delivered and we''ll do our best to get them to you on or about that date.

Other times, customers need the lockers to arrive at a specific point during construction. We can accommodate these type of requests, just let us know your needs when placing the order.

How many lockers fit in a 40 foot shipping container?
It has been our experience that we can fit about 250 (+/-10%) 3-wide unassembled standard lockers in a 40 foot shipping container. This is hand-packed without pallets.

Various questions on plastic lockers
Are the plastic locker handles ADA-compliant?
Yes, the plastic locker handles are ADA-compliant.

Are the plastic lockers made with recycled plastic?
Yes, at the present time (March, 2012), the plastic lockers do have recycled plastic - 30% post-industrial content.

Designer Lockers: how far do the doors open?
The doors open to 90 degrees.
